I don't like to talk about myself, but it's only fair to tell you something. First and foremost, I am quirky, plain and simple. My sense of humor is unusual, but not mean-spirited. I am a study in contrasts, an old world lady with a modern, liberal mentality. Equally - if not more - important, I don't like playing head games, so if you are the sort of person who likes to mess around with another's feelings and mind, then I ask you to just not bother me. I wouldn't do that to you, so don't do it to me. For those gentlemen who do not like tattoos, please move on. I do have them, but I don't feel they are extensive, expansive or garish.

I am a woman of varied interests - many nature-related, some more of the quiet stay-inside sort. A few can be done either indoors or out, like reading, jewelry-making, writing.

I hope to find that special person who will accept me for who I am - even with my medical issues, which I don't want to keep me from living life to the fullest - and who enjoys doing things that I may not have considered before, and who will welcome me in sharing these interests. You are certainly welcome to share mine. I must make it a point to let you know that I thoroughly enjoy intellectual, witty dialogue.

You love animals!! If you have a gentle, quirky sense of humor. If you live on the East coast - within a 25 mile driving distance. If you are a one-woman man, as I am a one-man woman. You are not clingy and need me with you in any way 24/7. You wouldn't mind starting an adventure somewhere else on the East coast (preferably Pennsylvania), as I hope to move in about a year. I don't know if real love is somewhere out there for me, but it would be nice to find out. I have just been in one too many situations where I had doubts about the feelings of the other party involved, so as of now I am treading very carefully and want to be friends before I would consider anything else. I am not looking for marriage, at least not yet and probably not for a long time to come, if ever. If you are caring, patient, compassionate, a gentleman (between 52-62) - preferably "Old World", romantic, single - as in widowed, divorced or never married and not in any other relationship.
