Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself a little more openly. I’m Miriam, I’m 32, and I live with a rare neuromuscular condition called Nemaline Myopathy. It affects my muscles and breathing, so I have a 24/7 care team—but because of that support, I’m able to live independently in my own apartment, build a life I’m proud of, and keep growing in ways that matter to me. I’m artistic, adventurous, and a writer at heart. I’m currently working on a memoir about my life—everything from the challenges to the victories, and how I’ve learned to keep rising no matter what life throws my way. I also live with severe depression, and that’s part of my reality too. It’s shaped me into someone who feels deeply, values honesty, and connects best with people who understand real emotional pain. I’m not looking for anything superficial—I’m hoping to meet someone empathetic, thoughtful, and unafraid of vulnerability and depth. And one more thing that’s important for me to share, even if it might limit my chances: I’m Jewish. I’m not Orthodox religious anymore, but I do want to marry someone Jewish.
