Hello!
I'm a widow of 4 years and life has been lonely. I would love to find someone to do local activities with. I'm not looking for anything serious right now (as love is something you can't control), but I am not ruling it out.
I am a caring person by nature and easy to get along with. I own my home and a time share in NH. I am not wealthy and am not seeking anyone for financial reasons. I am not a materialistic person, so I am not looking to be showered with gifts (I feel the best gifts come from the heart such as a kind word or embrace). I enjoy the simple things in life, such as dining out, live music, comedy shows, scenic drives, day trips, weekend getaways, or just hanging out at home. I am seeking someone local so we can get together easily.
As far as my disability, I have neuropathy in my feet caused by diabetes. I had lost my ability to drive a few years ago, but I am happy to say I am back on the road driving with hand controls! I need a walker (or an arm to hold on to) while walking outdoors, but I do well walking indoors with no assistance.
I raised 2 children with special needs , My daughter passed away in 2012, and my son currently lives with me, but I am about to start the process of finding housing for him. He is on the Autism Spectrum, but is high functioning. Because of how my life has been, we were never able to socialize much, so I only have a couple friends I see every now and then. I came from a big family, but most of them are gone now or have moved away.
